The meetings scheduled for the lesbian and gay community within A.A. are all scheduled in the Convention Center, Exhibition Hall I. The schedule of meetings for Lesbians/Gays in A.A. is as follows:

Al-anon meeting:

Al-anon is for Gays and Lesbians
In addition to these meetings, IAC (the International Advisory Council for Homosexual Men and Women in Alcoholics Anonymous) have been provided with Hospitality Room space by GSO. The IAC Hospitality Room is located on the 14th floor of the Regal Minneapolis Hotel in the Dome and the Horizon Room. The Hotel is located at 1313 Nicollet Mall, which is located one and one half blocks west of the Convention Center. It will be open from 12 Noon until 1 AM on Thursday, 7 AM until 1 AM on Friday and Saturday, and from 7 AM until 12 Noon on Sunday. There is still a need for volunteers at the Hospitality Room, so please stop by on Thursday and sign up to help (A registration badge is required at the Hospitality Room).
IAC also has a dance planned for Saturday, July 1, from 9 PM until 1 AM at the International Market Square, located at 275 Market St. (or the corner of Glenwood Ave. and Lyndale Ave. No. You do not need be registered for the Convention to attend or volunteer for the dance. Admission is $10 in advance and $12 at the door.
On Friday, June 30, the local GLBT organization, GLBT in A.A, will be sponsoring the GLBT in A.A. Cabaret at the Wesley United Methodist Church Dining Room. Wesley is located immediately west of the Convention Center. You do not have to be registered for the Convention to take part at the Cabaret. See below for the day's schedule.
GLBT in A.A. is an organization made up of members of A.A. Our purpose is to promote recovery (including other 12 step programs) in the Twin Cities GLBT community.

Between the scheduled events at the Cabaret,
there will be an open stage. Please stop at the information table and sign-up for a time slot to perform your talent!
Registration at the Convention is not required
to take part in the Cabaret!
Registration for the
International Convention
For those not yet registered for the Convention, the Registration Area, Minneapolis Convention Center Ground Level, Hall 2, will be open from 8 AM - 8 PM starting on Wed, June 28 (it will also be open through Friday at the same hours. Saturday it will be open 9 AM until 3 PM) Your registration badge is your admission to all Convention events. Registration fee is $95. Lost badges can be replaced at the Registration desk for a $15 fee.
If you are pre-registered, you must pick up your badge at the Registration Area.
Registration is required for the Convention Dances at the Metrodome.

Volunteers
If you have volunteered to help with the IAC or GLBT in AA functions, please report to the Information Table at the IAC Hospitality Room or the GLBT in AA Cabaret when you arrive. If you are volunteering for the Dance, report to the Ticket Table.
If you would like to volunteer, please report to the same areas and sign up during the Convention. We still need MANY volunteers, and your help would be greatly appreciated.
If you can, please bring sweets or munchies to the GLBT in AA Cabaret on Friday, June 30, 2000!
Souvenirs
There will be some GLBT souvenirs - some Convention specific, and some not - available at the GLBT in AA Cabaret. They will be available all day on Friday, June 30 at the Wesley United Methodist Church Dining Room. Come and check them out - there will be T-shirts, caps, lanyards, and water bottles. These items are sponsored by GLBT in AA and are for the Convention. There will be several other non-convention items that are just "for fun".
Come to the "Welcome to the Twin Cities" Social and have a cup of coffee and look the items over!
